Sugar & Calorie Breakdown

The SGLT1 Science
The SGLT1 sodium-glucose cotransporter is an intestinal protein that couples sodium and glucose uptake. It provides useful physiology context, but it does not prove a particular consumer product is faster or better than another formula.
For SGLT1 to activate, it needs three things simultaneously:
- Sodium — the driving ion
- Glucose — a co-substrate in sodium-glucose cotransport physiology
